The Universal Social Organization (USO) is a borderless, decentralized network built on trust, equality, and real human connections. We believe in a future where people collectively organize, share, and manage resources for the good of all.
How It Works:
The Universal Social Organization is an informal organization of people, each with equal decision-making and other rights, and with no restrictions or other requirements, assembling annually to elect a body of 150 representatives.
The body of 150 representatives annually elects a body of 9 senior representatives.
The body of 9 senior representatives elects certain officers of the organization.
Elections are made based on a coalition ranked choice vote, which is a modified version of standard proportional ranked choice voting, focused more on coalition building.
The organization is associated with other, more formal entities (such as nonprofits, for-profits, etc.) that may be managed by certain individuals nominated by the organization.
The organization does not hold any funds or other property, and does not require any pledge, commitment, fees, or taxes, etc.
The organization does not discriminate against individuals in any way.
